Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ to be Distributed by PVR Inox Pictures: Trailer Coming Soon!
Aamir Khan is Back!
After a long wait of over two and a half years, Aamir Khan is finally returning to the big screen with his upcoming movie ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. The film has been generating a lot of buzz ever since its announcement, with fans eagerly awaiting updates on its release date and trailer. Well, we’ve got some exciting news! Bollywood Hungama has exclusively learned that PVR Inox Pictures will be distributing ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ in cinemas across the country.
A Long-Standing Relationship
Interestingly, there’s a strong connection between Aamir Khan and PVR Inox. In fact, just a few weeks ago, PVR Inox celebrated Aamir’s 60th birthday with a special film festival showcasing some of his iconic movies. The exhibition arm of PVR Inox even hosted an event with Javed Akhtar, where Aamir Khan was present, at their PVR Juhu property in Mumbai. Adding to the connection, ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ is a spiritual sequel to Aamir Khan’s beloved 2007 film ‘Taare Zameen Par’, which was previously backed by PVR Pictures.
Trailer Launch and Release Date
As per our sources, Aamir Khan might release the trailer of ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ digitally on Wednesday, April 30th. Get ready to see it on the big screen from May 1st! PVR Inox plans to showcase the trailer in their cinemas alongside other major releases like ‘Raid 2’, ‘Thunderbolts’, and ‘The Bhootnii’.
Reports suggest that the trailer is 3 minutes and 29 seconds long and has already received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film is expected to hit theaters on June 20th.

‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ is directed by R S Prasanna, who is known for his heartwarming films like ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’. Joining Aamir Khan in this heartwarming tale is Genelia Deshmukh.
